A flash flood watch remains in effect for Maui County, which includes Moloka'i, through late tonight.

The National Weather Service office in Honolulu had earlier issued a flood advisory for Moloka'i to last until 12:45 p.m. today.

At 9:37 a.m., radar showed heavy rain northwest of the Molokai Airport.

The area of heavy rain appeared to be nearly stationary, the office said.

Other locations in the advisory included, but were not limited to, Kepuhi, Kalaupapa and Hoolehua.
