A 62-year-old Lahaina man was killed Sunday when he tipped his motorcycle while trying to execute a U-turn, Maui County police said yesterday.

Donald Lubin was traveling east on Puakea Loop in the Mahanalua Nui subdivision when he lost control of the 2006 Suzuki and fell.

Police did not immediately determine if it is a traffic fatality and said it will be categorized following an autopsy.

Lubin was not wearing a helmet, police said.
