The finer tools for writing — as in putting pen to paper — will be on sale at a new store that opens Thursday at Waikiki Beach Walk.

Bittner, The Pleasure of Writing, a specialty boutique, on the corner of Beachwalk and Kalia Road, across from the Outrigger Reef on the Beach and the new Trump International Hotel & Tower, will open its doors at 3 p.m. on Nov. 20. Grand opening celebrations will continue through November 21 and 22.

The chain specializes in fine writing instruments, elegant stationery and writing accessories from around the world including a wide selection of colored inks, hand-made paper, leather journals and other writing accessories.

"We are delighted that Bittner has chosen to open their first Hawaii store at Waikiki Beach Walk," said Barbara Campbell, vice president of retail development and leasing for Outrigger Enterprises Group.
