Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north-facing shores of O'ahu was expected to drop to 3 to 5 feet over night, but bounce back to 5 to 7 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, expect surf of 3 to 6 feet along east-facing shores, 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores and 1-2 feet along west-facing shores.

Outlook through Thursday, Nov. 6: A slight increase in short period north-northeast swell is expected overnight, and the swell will then gradually diminish through the weekend.

A small northwest swell will peak on Tuesday. A moderate northwest swell will build Thursday. No other significant swells are expected. A slight increase in southern hemisphere swell is expected for the middle of next week.
