"The Producers," the Mel Brooks musical, has been extended for two more performances, at 8 p.m. June 7 and at 4 p.m. June 8, at Diamond Head Theatre.
The production, which was to close June 1, features Dennis Proulx as Max Bialystock and Don Nahaku as Leo Bloom, the producer and accountant, respectively, who plan to stage a huge theatrical bomb that turns into a huge hit instead, foiling their scam to bilk their backers.
"The Producers" anticipates full houses for the limited run, so call for tickets.
Tickets: $12 to $42, with discounts for children under 18, seniors (62 and over) and active duty military.
Reservations: 733-0274, www.diamondheadtheatre.com
The DHT box office also is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays.
