A seven-hour '80s music fest coming up

The '80s are returning, amid a wave of music, with 20 acts sharing three waterfront stages for seven hours on June 14.

The event, the Steinlager Pure Mega '80s Music Festival, will be staged from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. June 14 at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower, Don Ho's Island Grill and Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant.

It's likely to be the summer sizzler for those who savor the sounds of the '80s, with live music complemented by DJ sets.

Here's the lineup:

• Stage 1 — The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace

Featured bands:

El Debarge, whose hits include "Rhythm of the Night," "Who's Holding Donna Now," "All This Love" and "Time Will Reveal."

Klymaxx, whose signatures include "Meeting in the Ladies Room," "The Men All Pause," "I Miss You," "I'd Still Say Yes."

Also performing: Jook Joint, DJ G Spot, Nocturna, Quicksilva, Ikon.

• Stage 2 — Gordon Biersch

Featured bands:

Lisa Lisa, known for "Head to Toe," "I Wonder If I take You Home," "Lost in Emotion," "All Cried Out."

Expose, whose chart tunes include "Seasons Change," "Point of No Return," "Come Go With Me."

Also performing: eightOeight, Stone Groove Family DJs.

• Stage 3 — Don Ho's

Featured bands:

Club Nouveau, remembered for "Lean on Me," "Rumors," "Why You Treat Me So Bad."

Quadrophonix.
