ROBERTS HAWAII
Roberts Hawaii, the state's largest privately owned tour and transportation company, has appointed Les Honda as director of guest experiences. Honda will be responsible for creating and identifying venues that will provide guests with memorable experiences.
FINANCE FACTORS
Finance Factors has hired Nichole Shimamoto as associate general counsel and the Compliance & Bank Secrecy Act officer, responsible for ensuring that the company meets all regulatory requirements and is in compliance with all banking laws and regulations. She will also be responsible for providing legal counsel and advice to the company and will assist in developing and monitoring internal policies and procedures.
BENNET GROUP
Bennet Group Strategic Communications has promoted Char Chang to account director and hired Monica Salter as a senior account executive.
TRI-STAR RESTAURANT GROUP
Geno Sarmiento has been promoted to senior executive chef. He oversees the Maui restaurants for Tri-Star Restaurant Group - Nick's Fishmarket Maui, Sarento's on the Beach & Son'z at Swan Court. He has been with the company for 16 years.
DTRIC
DTRIC Insurance Company Limited and DTRIC Insurance Underwriters Limited have announced the appointment of Ernest "Ernie" Fukeda Jr. as chief operating officer. In his position, Fukeda will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, as well as guiding the direction of the company's corporate development activities.
Fukeda joins DTRIC with more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty industry. He most recently served as chief operating officer of HEMIC Insurance Co.
HYATT REGENCY
Vincent Brunetti has been named executive assistant manager - food and beverage at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa, with responsibilities for all food and beverage operations at the four restaurants operated by the resort: Ciao Mein, The Colony, Musashi and Terrace Grille. In addition, Brunetti will also oversee operations of the Elegant Dive pool bar, in-room dining, and the banquet and catering areas.
BANK OF HAWAII
Bank of Hawaii has announced its senior management promotions:
Anh "Betty" H. Brow has been promoted to executive vice president of the international banking division. She has added responsibility for international commercial banking in addition to her duties as manager of the International Banking Center in Waikiki, which include managing relationships with non-U.S. clients, developing new business opportunities in Hawai'i and Asia, and overseeing the team of International Banking Division officers.
Lyleth "Lee" AsuncionYacapin has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of the Client Services Division. Asuncion-Yacapin joined the bank in 1992 and served in various sales and service positions before joining the Client Services Division in 1996.
Margaret "Peg" Meagher has been promoted to chief compliance officer. Meagher continues her duties as senior vice president of corporate compliance and is responsible for overseeing all compliance activities for Bank of Hawaii, focusing on consumer protection and privacy along with compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Tony Mizuno has been promoted to senior vice president of the Commercial Real Estate Loan Division. Mizuno continues his responsibilities as deputy manager, which include building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers to develop new business and increase existing business.
Natalie Ota has been promoted to senior vice president of management reporting in the Controllers Division. She continues her duties as financial planning and reporting manager, which entail overseeing the bank's financial reports for internal business lines and its overall budget.
Kevin Trechter has been promoted to president of Bank of Hawaii Insurance Services. He will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of Bank of Hawaii Insurance Services as well as continuing integration of the insurance subsidiary into Bank of Hawaii's overall operations.
SEA LIFE PARK
Sea Life Park has appointed RON ADAMS and WES CHONG to its sales and marketing department.
Adams has been named director of independent markets and corporate group sales. He is charged with developing and implementing Dolphin Interactive, Admissions and Lu'au programs for hotels, independent concierge and travel desks, timeshare companies and meetings and the incentive, conventions and exhibitions industry.
Chong has been named director of wholesales leisure and Web company sales. He is responsible for developing Dolphin Interactive, Admissions and Lu'au programs with all wholesalers from North America, Australia and Europe, and also overseeing Web company sales of Sea Life Park programs.
ALEXANDER & BALDWIN
KARALYNN UCHIMURA has been promoted to manager, internal audit, for Alexander & Baldwin Inc. In her new position, Uchimura will be responsible for planning, performing and reporting on both financial and operational audits and reviews for the firm, its subsidiaries, departments, business partners and acquisition candidates.

Veteran journalist GARETT KAME-MOTO has joined Communications Pacific as senior account executive in the company's public relations practice.
