Police are investigating a complaint in which a female student alleges a Highlands Intermediate School security officer grabbed her buttock.

The girl ,12, alleges she was groped Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. walking in a hallway. The girl told her parents, who reported it to police.

The security officer, 43, was arrested at the school at 9:30 a.m. yesterday for investigation of third-degree sex assault, questioned and released pending further investigation.
