Traffic signals at Kuhio Hwy., Kolo Rd. to be activated today

Advertiser Staff

LIHUE - The state Department of Transportation advises Kaua'i motorists that temporary traffic signals on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) at the Kolo Road intersection, north of Kilauea Town, will be fully-activated this morning, May 8, at approximately 9 a.m.

The temporary signals are currently in a flashing-mode and, this morning, will be fully-activated to control traffic flow through the intersection.

Motorists are advised to use caution while familiarizing themselves with the new traffic light patterns and to allow for extra travel time.
