University of Hawai'i senior left-hander Nick Rhodes was named Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced today.

Rhodes, of Corona Del Mar, Calif., had a career-high 11 strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings in a 2-0 victory over Fresno State Friday. He allowed just two hits and two walks for his first victory of the season.

New Mexico State outfielder Franky Busani was named WAC Hitter of the Week.
