Trade winds may bring a few light showers today

Moderate to light trade winds will prevail through the rest of the week as a high-pressure area remains north of the iIlands, the National Weather Service said.

Clouds and wind-driven showers will affect parts of the state at times, primarily over wind and mountain areas, forecasters said.

Here's a more detailed look at the next few days:

Today: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Breezy. Highs 75 to 85. East winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 74. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 76 to 83. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 72. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 77 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 64 to 72. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
