To help contestants prepare for Hawaii Public Radio's 11th Art Song Festival, HPR is offering a free SongShop at 3 p.m. March 29 in the Choral Room of the Music Department of UH Manoa (next to Orvis Auditorium).

UH professor Thomas Yee will provide the piano accompaniment for those singers without their own pianist.

SongShop is open to singers preparing an art song for entry in the Art Song Festival, with a deadline of April 15. Winners will be heard on HPR's "Great Songs."
