Hawaii surf starting to increase with northwest swell

A northwest swell is expected to produce surf approaching the 15-foot advisory level for north-facing shores tonight and Wednesday, the National Weather Service said. Today, surf along north-facing shores will remain 5 feet to 8 feet.
Surf along west-facing shores will be 4 feet to 6 feet today, and surf along southern shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet. East-facing shores will see surf 1 foot to 2 feet.
