Lane resurfacing will close off-ramp tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

The H-201 Moanalua Freeway's westbound Halawa/Stadium/Camp Smith off-ramp (Exit 1-E) will be closed from 8 p.m. tomorrow to 5 p.m. Saturday for concrete pavement resurfacing, the state Department of Transportation said.

The closure is needed to allow the new concrete lane surface enough time to properly cure, the department said.

The H-3 East/Kane'ohe off-ramp (Exit 1-D) will remain open during this time.

Halawa-bound drivers on the Moanalua Freeway are advised to continue past the ramp closure, proceed onto Moanalua Road and use Kaimakani Street as an alternate route to Ulune Street and the Halawa area.
