KAPI'OLANI HEALTH FOUNDATION

Barbara Mathews, executive director of the Hawaii State Center for Nursing; Keahi Pelayo, broker-in-charge, owner and president of RE/MAX 808 Realty; and Abelina Madrid Shaw, a private-practice attorney, have been named to the board of the Kapi'olani Health Foundation, the fundraising arm for Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children and Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi.

ING DIRECT

Justin Mueller has been named sales/operation coach for ING Direct-Hawaii. He will participate in hiring as well as leading the sales teams for the ING Direct Cafe and the ING Direct Mobile Cafe. Jamie Omori has been named business/community development coach. She will oversee the promotion of ING Direct products to the community through outreach efforts.

ING Direct is scheduled to open in Waikiki in early fall.

UH-WEST O'AHU

UH-West O'ahu has hired Elaine Lee as director of institutional research. Previously, Lee worked as a legislative analyst for the city and county of Honolulu.
