Minor quake reported on Big Island

A minor 3.1-magnitude earthquake on the Big Island was recorded by the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory at 12:29 this morning.
It did not warrant a tsunami bulletin.
The quake hit 12 miles northwest of Glenwood, 15 miles southwest of Hilo. It was recorded at a depth of 4.3 miles.
