Lego artist Nathan Sawaya will display his art for the first time in Hawai'i beginning this weekend at Pearlridge Center's Uptown and Downtown center courts.

Sawaya's "Brick Art" will show at Pearlridge from Saturday through July 20. The sculpture display will be accompanied by a play area for families on weekends.

Sawaya is based in New York, and his sculptures are touring North American museums in a show called "The Art of the Brick," a major exhibition that focuses exclusively on Lego as an art medium.
