A new half-hour television show looking behind the scenes at Japanese pop culture will premiere on Oceanic Cable's OC16 station starting Monday.
"Doko Ga TV: JapanMania," co-created and hosted by Pali Kaaihue and Sahicko Uchida, will feature people, occupations, trends, destinations, food, animation, comics, celebrities, musicians and more.
The show will take viewers behind the scenes at the Tokyo premiere of "Speed Racer: The Movie;" interview well-known martial artists from Sonny Chiba's Japan Action Club, Hello Kitty and Power Ranger creators; and will take a peek at the birthplace of katsu-don and top animation and comic studios.
