Parade of Champions

What: Parade honoring the University of Hawai'i football team and other champions from UH and high school football.

When: Today at 4 p.m.

Where: Waikiki, from Fort DeRussy (at Saratoga and Kalakaua) to Sunset on the Beach site (Kapahulu and Kalakaua).

TV: Live on KHNL (channel 13, cable 8, digital 008, high definition 1008), 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

CHAMPIONS

  • UH football team.

  • UH women's volleyball team.

  • UH women's soccer team.

  • Leilehua (State and OIA Division I champion).

  • 'Iolani (State and ILH Division II champion).

  • Saint Louis (ILH varsity and junior varsity champions).

  • Kaimuki (OIA Division II champion).

  • Wai'anae (OIA junior varsity Division I champion).

  • Waipahu (OIA junior varsity Division II champion).

  • Word of Life (ILH intermediate champion).

    ROAD CLOSURES

    The parade route and cross streets will be closed progressively from 2 p.m. City buses will detour from approximately 3:30 p.m. or when directed by police, road supervisors or The Bus central control.
