KAPALUA RESORT

Golf professional Michael Jones has been named director of golf at Kapalua Resort, where he will manage the resort's two courses, The Bay and The Plantation. In 2008, each golf course will host a major tournament, the PGA Tour's season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship on The Plantation Course in January and the inaugural LPGA Kapalua Classic on The Bay Course in October. Before joining Kapalua Resort, Jones was the head golf pro at Cantigny Golf, a public golf course in Wheaton, Ill.

DR HORTON

Mary K. Flood, vice president of sales and marketing for DR Horton, has been installed as president of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii for 2008. Other officers include president-elect, Mike Brant (Gentry Homes); vice president, Doug Pearson (Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii); secretary, Jim Byxbee (Homeworks Construction); special appointee-builder, Paul Silen (Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co.); special appointee-associate, Tim Waite (Simpson Strong Tie Co.); immediate past president, William Paik (Grace Pacific); and BIA-Hawaii executive vice president and chief executive officer, Karen Nakamura.

AIRMED HAWAII

AirMed Hawaii has promoted Peter Hughes to clinical manager, responsible for the coordination and management of all care-related AirMed transports throughout the state, including oversight of a staff of 50 paramedics and nurses. Hughes joined the company in 2006 after working for various medical organizations, including the Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center, the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, Kapiolani Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and Queen's Airport Medical. AirMed is Hawai'i's only accredited air ambulance service.

PM REALTY

PM Realty has promoted Corinne Hiromoto to general manager of Ali'i Place, a 316,000-square-foot office and retail complex in Downtown Honolulu. Hiromoto will oversee the fiscal and physical operations of the property, which received the Energy Star title for energy efficiency by the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
