ZAGREB, Croatia — Goran Ivanisevic will be questioned by police after a photographer said the former Wimbledon champion attacked him and smashed his camera.
Boris Beribak of the local tabloid Story said Ivanisevic assaulted him Monday while he and other photographers were waiting in front of his Zagreb home, police said.
Ivanisevic has agreed to be questioned when he returns from a trip, police spokeswoman Aleksandra Ljuba said Tuesday. He could not immediately be contacted.
Ivanisevic retired soon after winning Wimbledon in 2001 as a wild card. He is one of the organizers of an ATP Tour indoor tournament that will start in Zagreb this week.
