Starting Thursday, Kaua'i County officials will close Hanama'ulu Beach Park for a monthlong cleanup.
The park will be closed to camping and use of the pavilions will not be allowed for the duration of the beautification project, through March 22.
However, there will still be limited access to the beach.
When the work is completed, the Hanama'ulu Neighborhood Association will host a celebration at the park. HNA's 1st annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled there on March 23.
Extensive work will be done at the beach park by county personnel including tree trimming, debris removal, road scraping and boulder replacement along the boundaries of the park.
