Recycling project will benefit Radford High

A recycling community clean-up project and fundraiser for Radford High School will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school.

Various recyclable items will be accepted, including scrap metal, car parts, newspaper, cardboard, beverage containers, tires (passenger only), green waste, car batteries, telephone books, printer cartridges, cell phones and computers.

Usable clothing and household items will also be accepted.

Area residents may dispose of bulky items by dropping them off or calling for curbside pickup service.
