'HOMELESS' BENEFIT
An original, radio-style variety show, "Hawaiian Homeless Companion" (a la Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion"), is a benefit for the homeless-relief work of the Angel Network.
Musician/scholar Jon Osorio will host a program that features comedian/impressionist Billy Sage, house band Hamajang, the Honolulu Men's Chorus, hula by Nawahine o Ke Kai Ola, keiki dancers from The Movement Center and others.
The show is at 6 p.m. Feb. 16, with food available from BluWater Grill at 5:30 p.m., at Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church, 5339 Kalaniana'ole Hwy.

JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL
The sixth annual Kirk Cashmere Jewish Film Festival takes place Feb. 16-18 at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Spalding Auditorium. Tickets are $7 per screening; $30 Festival Flash Pass.
