Big Isle police searching for missing Hilo teen

Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old boy reported missing from his Hilo home since Aug. 11.

Noah Mamala is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-8, about 160 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All CrimeStoppers information is kept confidential.
