Bank of Hawaii employees and YouthBuild Honolulu students will paint and clean public housing units at the Kamalu Ho'olulu Elderly Housing project in Waipahu on Saturday.

Eight units will be worked on so that those on a waiting list can move into the affordable units more quickly.

YouthBuild Honolulu is affiliated with YouthBuild USA, and is part of the city's Department of Community Services. It is an alternative educational and job training program that prepares non-high school, at-risk youths for employment and positive citizenship.
