DBEDT seminar to detail Asia business opportunities

A seminar informing Hawai'i companies about doing business with the Asian Development Bank is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon, April 28 at the No. One Capitol District building at 250 South Hotel Street.

The seminar will offer firms a chance to learn about consulting and procurement opportunities with the Manila -based bank that works to eradicate poverty in Asia and the Pacific. It provides loans, guarantees, grants, private sector investments, and knowledge and advice to help build infrastructure and improve essential services.

DBEDT said the seminar will be an opportunity for local firms to expand their business through international contracts. For more information call 587-2757.
