San Diego State topples Hawaii in water polo

Jenna Schuster scored four goals as fifth-ranked San Diego State beat fourth-ranked Hawai'i, 10-7, yesterday in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo match at San Diego, Calif.
Heather Fenske made 11 saves for the Aztecs (25-3, 7-2).
Lisa van Raalte scored three goals and Kelly Mason two for the Rainbow Wahine (14-6, 7-3).

ALUMNAE RAISING FUNDS
Rusty Wahine, a team of Rainbow Wahine alumnae from the past 12 years, will hold a fundraiser Saturday at Eastside Grill (1035 University Ave.) to raise money for a trip to the USVBA women's nationals in May at Atlanta.
The team includes former All-Americans Kanoe Kamana'o and Lily Kahumoku, and Lauren Duggins-Chun, Jennifer Carey, Margaret Vakasausau, Nohea Tano-Laboy and Aven Lee.
The fundraiser will go from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with heavy pupu from 6 and prizes and live entertainment from 8. There will also be a silent auction and meet-and-greet with the athletes. Proceeds help with travel and registration costs.
Tickets are $10 before the event, $15 at the door. The team is also looking for monetary and prize donations.
