ALOHA 'AINA EARTH DAY — The 31st Recycling Community Cleanup Project will allow residents to dispose of bulky items and recyclables, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Wai'anae Small Boat Harbor. Accepted will be scrap metal, auto parts, bicycles, metal appliances, lawn mowers, newspapers, cardboard, HI-5¢ containers, tires, green waste, computers, fishing nets and more. QUICK KAWAI NUI CLEANUP — Windward Ahupua'a Alliance will hold a Quick-n-Dirty Cleanup of Kawai Nui waterway and Hamakua Marsh 12:30-2 p.m. today, with a pau hana party 2:15-4 p.m. HI-5¢ beverage containers will be collected 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Pre-registration not required. POUHALA MARSH RESTORATION — Hawai'i Nature Center is restoring Pouhala Marsh in Waipahu. Volunteers are needed to pull pickleweed and mangrove, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday.
