Gather around for storytellers

Three storytellers will give four free performances tomorrow on Maui.

Jeff Gere will share "Haunted Hawai'i Tales" at 6:30 p.m. at the Wailuku Public Library. He is the founder of the Talk Story Festival and "Talk Story Radio," which airs Sunday nights on Mana'o Radio. Lyn Ford will appear at 3:30 p.m. at the Kihei Library. She tells Brer Rabbit folktales and traditional and original ghost lore.

Alton Chung will share Asian folklore and obake ghost stories at 2:30 p.m. at the Kahului Library and at 7 p.m. at Lahaina Jodo Mission as part of Family Aloha Night, which starts at 5 p.m., hosted by the West Maui Domestic Violence Task Force.
