Music and fashion icon Gwen Stefani performs at 8 p.m. at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort, with support from Sean Kingston.

This year marked the launch of Stefani's world tour in support of her platinum album, "The Sweet Escape," which includes the singles "The Sweet Escape" and "Wind It Up." Sean Kingston, the 17-year-old singer of "Beautiful Girls," joins Stefani mixing pop and doo-wop with hip-hop and reggae. Tickets: $153 and $253 at 702-474-4000 or www.ticketmaster.com. Gramm-winner Celine Dion is to be honored as Entertainer of the New Millennium by the Nevada Commission on Tourism at the annual Governor's Conference on Tourism at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. Dion will make an appearance at 6 p.m. Dec. 13 to accept the award.

The Governor's Conference on Tourism is offering early registrants the chance to buy tickets to one of Dion's final performances in Las Vegas, in the Caesars Palace Colosseum, which was built specifically for her show.
