Land-bound residents can get a rare chance to see Kane'ohe Bay from the water Saturday.

The Ko'olau Foundation will lead hour long tours of the bay to raise awareness about the unique natural and cultural landmarks in the area.

Tickets are free for kids under 12 years. Donations of $5 are asked for others. Donations will be used for Ko'olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club cultural programs and other activities.

The boat tours launch from He'eia-Kea Pier on Kamehameha Highway in Kane'ohe and are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Advance reservations are required. Call 286-7955 for reservations.
