Speakers, films in women series

Windward Community College is celebrating National Women's History Month with a series of speakers beginning Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Hale Akoakoa, room 105.

Speakers include:

Tuesday: Mary Ann Wright, former U.S. diplomat who resigned in 2003 because of her disagreement with the Bush administration's decision to go to war.

Wednesday: Professor Haunani-Kay Trask from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, 12:40 p.m.

March 15: Sen. Colleen Hanabusa, 4 p.m.

WCC also will present films celebrating women, followed by panel discussions.
