Just in time for Valentine's Day, four Hawai'i jewelers will share a trunk show of their work tomorrow and Sunday at Native Books/Na Mea Hawai'i in Ward Warehouse.
Donna Lee Cockett of Kaua'i and her sister, Linda Schweitzer of the Big Island, will teach how to make a lauhala bracelet for that special someone. They will be in the store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Ke Kai Kealoha of 3Pearls will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days making one-of-a-kind jewelry using "small harvest" Nukuoro black pearls.
Marla Momi Musick of Strands by Momi will present her urban silver jewelry inspired by native Hawaiian plants, kapa and hula implements from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Meet shoe designer Ramon Tenza: Spanish shoe designer Ramon Tenza, known for his whimsical creations for women who like to have fun with their footwear, will make his first Hawai'i appearance. His bold, colorful designs frequently feature unexpected details, often fruit-related, on the heels and toes.
A few years ago he toned down his heel treatments, but Paula Sussex, owner of the Sandal Tree stores, talked him into bringing his wilder side out of hiding. He'll present his new spring/summer 2007 line and will autograph shoes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at Sandal Tree Ala Moana.
Free makeovers by Hollywood makeup: David Hernandez, lead makeup artist for the popular line Make Up For Ever, will conduct free half-hour makeover sessions from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at Blush in Kahala Mall.
Appointments are a must. Call 739-6200.
Prom dress sale benefits Domestic Clearinghouse: That dream prom dress can cost a pretty penny, and it's money many girls simply don't have. That's why students from La Pietra, Punahou, Mid-Pacific Institute, St. Andrew's Priory and Maryknoll have been collecting prom gowns since the school year began. They'll put them on sale at a Girls Just Wanna Have Fun event, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at La Pietra.
Proceeds go to the Domestic Violence Clearinghouse. There will also be a raffle for a prom day makeup and hair package.

Spring arrives at Neiman Marcus: Calling all Carries! There will be a trunk show of the coveted Manolo Blahnik shoes today through Sunday. Would you believe the line is featuring the must-have of the season: The Flat?
Lana Jewelry, created by Lana Fertelmeister and inspired by the architecture and history of her native Moscow in Russia, has become a Hollywood favorite of stars such as Rachel Weisz. The designer will make her first Hawai'i appearance, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.
The iconic Italian leather company, Tod's, will also present its seasonal favorites today through Monday.
Is it time for your annual bra check-up? Check out the latest underpinnings from Le Mystere and receive a personal consultation from the company's fit expert, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Dress for Success: The YWCA's Dress for Success program provides free interview-appropriate ensembles for economically challenged women who are looking for jobs. The donated business and casual attire can give a woman the confidence to apply for her dream job.
Sometimes the closets get too stuffed, however, and the Y needs to clean them out with a big sale.
The next sale will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday to Feb. 16, in the Laniakea YWCA lobby in downtown Honolulu. Skirts will be sold for $5, dresses $10 and suits $25.
