Single lane closures will continue in the northbound lanes of Fort Weaver Road from A'awa Drive to Laulaunui Street Jan. 3 and 4 as widening work continues along 'Ewa's main thoroughfare.

The closures take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Work will include lane-striping and concrete barrier placements in the right shoulder lane.

The right shoulder lane in the southbound direction from Laulaunui to Old Fort Weaver Road will also continue to be closed 24 hours a day behind concrete barriers to isolate work areas from traffic.

The second phase of the widening project widens Fort Weaver from four lanes to six.
