REHABILITATION HOSPITAL OF THE PACIFIC FOUNDATION
The Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation has elected MATTHEW GAMBETTA as president of its board of directors. Gambetta is vice president of the Pacific Region for REIT Management and Research. He oversees the day-to-day management and leasing of about 400 acres of industrial lands on O'ahu. He is a member of the Nature Conservancy.
WAIKIKI BEACH MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA
Michael Edwards has been appointed resident manager for the 1,310-room Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Most recently, Edwards served in Australia as general manager of Peppers Fairmont Resort, Blue Mountains. He began his hospitality career in 1995.
ALOHACARE
AlohaCare recently announced the promotion of Susie Nguyen to communications and public relations team leader. She will be responsible for leading the communications team and external partners to design, develop and produce communications that have effective marketing outcomes.
FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK
GEORGE WEIR has joined First Hawaiian Bank as senior vice president and manager, trust division. Weir has extensive trust and investment experience and previously held positions with Hawaiian Trust Co., New Mexico Bank & Trust and Harris Trust in Chicago.
BATTLESHIP MISSOURI MEMORIAL
The Battleship Missouri Memorial recently announced the promotion of Cynthia-Marie Pascua to the newly created position of development cultivation specialist. Her responsibilities include developing and executing cultivation activities for the memorial's Friends of the Mighty Mo membership program. She focuses primarily on new member orientation, member events and weekly dignitary tours.
