    COOKING DEMONSTRATION

THINK OF HER AS THE JAPANESE MARTHA

Author and lifestyle goddess Harumi Kurihara is the most famous housewife in Japan. She is known for transforming traditional dining into memorable feasts. She's a rock-star Martha Stewart with her Fuji television cooking shows, housewares, cookbooks and food magazines, raising domesticity to an art. Her delicious, popular food demonstrations sell out quickly, and here's your chance to witness the magic. As part of the lifestyle series Halekulani Living, Kurihara will give a cooking demonstration and food presentation 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sept. 8, in Halekulani Ballroom 1.

Admission is $75 per person and includes a signed cookbook. Reservations a must, 931-5040.
