The Hawaii Foster Parent Association will hold its annual conference tomorrow and Saturday at the Pacific Beach Hotel.

Early registration, at a reduced rate, ends today.

The main theme of the conference is addressing homelessness among youth who have run away from foster homes or "aged out" and are unable to make it on their own.

Foster parents, children, legal guardians, adoptive parents, social welfare advocates and educators are encouraged to attend.

Early registration costs $130 for both days, or $85 for one day. Regular registration costs $140 for both days, or $95 for one day.
