If you love being out in nature, enjoy working with young students and have at least one day a week to spare, this may be just the thing for you: The Waimea Valley Audubon Center seeks volunteers to work as teaching docents alongside field educators in school programs. Training is provided; volunteers should commit from 9 a.m. to noon (hours are flexible) at least one day a week through December. For details: 638-9199, ext. 210.
