A man who was trimming tree branches in a cherry picker was killed yesterday in an accident in Hau'ula.

Emergency Services Department spokesman Bryan Cheplic said the man, in his 30s, was trimming branches on Kaipapau Loop and Kamehameha Highway when a tree branch fell on him. The call came in at 6:48 p.m., Cheplic said.

The man died at Kahuku Community Hospital, Cheplic said.
