NO DAVID ALAN GRIER

A comedy concert by David Alan Grier, rescheduled for Nov. 18 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, has been canceled. Grier, a cast member of the groundbreaking "In Living Color" TV show, is in a Broadway musical that has been extended.

Tickets will be refunded at the points of purchase.

JAZZED UP IN KAPOLEI

The 2nd annual Hawaii International Jazz Festival at Kapolei Hale is an all-day feast of music and food booths. Among the performers: 'Iolani School Stage Band III, Gypsy Pacific, Kelly Covington Quartet, Abe Weinstein and Friends, the Honolulu Jazz Quartet, Bobby Thursby & Velvet, Jeff Peterson, David Choy, DeShannon Higa, Miles Jackson, Larry Cook, Abe Lagrimas Jr. and Aaron Aranita.

The festival is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 12. Admission and parking are free.

GOSPEL CONCERT JAN. 5

Grammy Award winners/contemporary gospel stars Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin will headline a concert at 6 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Blaisdell Arena. Doors open at 5 p.m.
