Get set for parades in Wai'anae and Hawai'i Kai

Holiday parade season has begun. Here's what's scheduled today (drivers, you have been warned!):
Wai'anae Coast Christmas Parade, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Starts at Wai'anae Boat Harbor, to Farrington Highway, ending at Wai'anae Mall. With 1,000 marchers, 30 vehicles, 30 floats, five bands and three horse units.
Keiki Kalikimaka Hawai'i Kai Christmas Parade, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Starts at Kamiloiki Park at Lunalilo Home Road and Hawai'i Kai Drive, continues on Lunalilo, ending at Koko Marina Shopping Center. With 1,000 marchers, 30 vehicles and two bands.
