Government: Today is a state and county holiday but not a federal one. Federal offices are open; state, and city and county offices are closed.
Libraries: All closed
TheBus: State holiday schedule (information: www.thebus.org, or call 848-5555)
Parking: Free on-street parking, except Kalakaua Avenue metered stalls, makai side of Kapi'olani Park; holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by sign; municipal lot meters must be fed.
Traffic: No coning
Trash: Regular residential and business pickup
Landfills and convenience centers: Open
Open markets: Closed
Municipal golf courses: Open
Honolulu Zoo, city botanical gardens: Open
Mail: Regular service
Handi-Van: Operating as usual
