AT THE 50TH STATE FAIR

The 50th State Fair — May 25-29 and June 2-4, 8-11 and 16-18 at Aloha Stadium — boasts a stellar lineup for its Hip-Hoppin' Concert Series:

Nick Cannon, the recording artist and actor. 8:30 p.m. May 26, 8 p.m. May 27.

Raven Symone, whose "That's So Raven" TV show is a big hit with the younger set and their families. 8:30 p.m. June 2 and 8 p.m. June 3.

Rhianna, the hit-making R&B artist. 8:30 p.m. June 9 and 8 p.m. June 10.

Fair hours are 6 p.m. to midnight Fridays; noon to midnight Saturdays and Sundays and May 29; 6 p.m. to midnight Thursdays.

PERFORMING AT DUKE'S

Need a place to take visitors or need a break to remember what the surf and sand look like?

There's always Duke's Waikiki, which hosts the Concerts on the Beach series, continuing this month from 4 to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

Ka'ala Boys: May 27
