In and around the penalty box, Kalaheo forward Stuart Aiu was so dangerous "opposing teams had to make it a top priority to know where he was," Kalani coach Myles Arakawa said.
"Unfortunately I can tell you what can happen if you don't. All it takes for that guy is one chance, and he makes it happen," Arakawa added.
Aiu was named the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division Player of the Year after scoring a league-high 18 goals. He scored against every team in the East except for Kaiser and tallied more than twice the number goals than the next highest scorer.
Joining Aiu on the first team are forwards Ken Gibson of Kailua, who scored six goals, and Jonathan Baba of Moanalua, who scored five.
Kaiser's Matt Bush, Moanalua's Kenneth Ogata, Roosevelt's Chris Morales and Kalani's Danny Higa were the first-team midfielders.
Defenders on the first team were Moanalua's Landon Watanabe, Kaiser's Kyle Niiro, Kalani's Carter Kam and Roosevelt's Hiroki Tomita.
Farrington's Larry Siuta was the first-team goalkeeper.
Arakawa was named the Eastern Division Coach of the Year.
