Is stress part of your everyday life? Consider these stress-busters from Medicine Net.com:

  • Get outdoors for a brief break. Even five minutes on a balcony or terrace can be rejuvenating.

  • Breathe slowly and deeply. Before reacting to the next stressful occurrence, take three deep breaths and release them slowly.

  • Plan something rewarding for the end of your stressful day, even if only a relaxing bath or half an hour with a good book.

    FINAL WORD

"People who are happiest in life seem to have mastered the art of living from the inside out. Instead of living as others think they should, or as they are in the habit of living, they live a life that feels right."

    SAVE THE PLANET

    DONATE YOUR OLD CELL PHONES

Rather than have your old cellular phones collect dust, consider recycling them. There are organizations that will buy your phones or donate profits from recycled phones to charity.

Opala.org, the Web site of Honolulu's Refuse Division, offers links to cell-phone recycling options; go to "Quick Find" and select "Cell Phone Recycling," or call 692-5656.

Before donating your phone, erase all stored information and make sure the cell-phone account has been terminated.
