Mayor Mufi Hannemann's Task Force on Drug Use has awarded $101,500 in grants to community groups.

Recipients include the Bobby Benson Center, D.A.R.E., Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Kualoa-He'eia Ecumenical Youth (KEY) Project, Parents and Children Together, Marimed Foundation, KAMP Hawaii Inc. and Palama Settlement.

Other recipients include Kahuku United Methodist Church, Victory Ohana Prison Fellowship, Surfing the Nations Foundation/Send Hope and Breakthroughs for Youth at Risk.
