Men in kilts. Comic Frank De Lima. Jig This, Doolin Rakes, Whiskey Starship and other groups with oh-so-lively names.

What do they have in common? All, and more, will be at the 25th annual Hawaiian Scottish Festival and Highland Games at Kapi'olani Park. The event originally was scheduled for the first weekend of April, but the rains nixed it until this sunnier weekend.

Among the attractions: Highland events such as tossing the caber (that long, heavy wooden pole), cultural demonstrations, vendors and food — all a la the land of the bagpipes.

Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and tomorrow. Admission is free. www.scotshawaii.org.
