BASEBALL

July 7-9/14-16—UH Baseball Annual summer baseball camps. Pitcher/Catcher camp from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Hitting camp from 1 to 4 p.m. for both camp dates. Open to ages 7 to 18. Fee: $120 per camp, $200 for both camps. Information: Baseball office, 956-6247.

July 23-25—5th Annual Kalae Iki Youth Baseball Clinic, at the Simmons' Field in Kailua-Kona. Sessions: 8:30-11:30 a.m. for 7-11 year olds and 1-4 p.m. for 12-17 year olds. Each session will be limited to the first 200 participants. Registration will be handled at the Parks & Recreation offices until July 17th. Fee: free. Information: UH-Hilo baseball office, 974-7700.

BASKETBALL

June 26—Summer Basketball League begins, at the Boys & Girls Club Spalding Clubhouse at 1704 Waiola Street. Open to ages 7-14. Fee: $30. Information: The Club, 949-4743.

June 27-30—Youth Fundamental Skills Basketball Camp, at Baldwin High School. Grades 1-4, 9 a.m. to noon. Grades 5-8, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Focus on fundamentals, skill games and having fun. Early registration by June 15 is $80 with $5 discount for additional siblings. Late registration is $85. Prizes will be awarded, and each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and camp basketball. TRACK & FIELD

TRIATHLON

July 23—26th Annual Tinman Triathlon, 750-meter swim at Queen's Beach, 40-kilometer bike from Kapi'olani to Hawai'i Kai and back, and a 10-kilometer run around Kapi'olani/Diamond Head area.
