A RUN ON TICKETS

The June 17 Paradise Yellow Pages Take a Walk in the Country concert starring The Makaha Sons and whole slew of guest artists is a hot ticket right now. The $30 tickets have sold out, leaving $100 dinner-and-show tickets and the $15 tickets.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the buffet, the show begins at 5 p.m., buffet ends at 6 p.m. It happens at the Blaisdell Arena. Guests include The Brothers Cazimero, Ho'okena, Hapa, Daniel Ho and Herb Ohta Jr., Aunty Genoa Keawe, Fiji and others.

ARTSPREE IS JULY 8

The Contemporary Museum's family-friendly ArtSpree is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8.

The event features artist-guided, hands-on activities such as ceramic wheel-throwing and hand-building and sculpture art, performance art, demonstrations, slam poetry, dance, music, art, art and more art.

There'll be free shuttle service from and to Punahou School throughout the day (enter Punahou from the main gate at Wilder Avenue and Punahou Street).
